by This abstract acrylic painting came to life as I was experimenting with new materials and techniques. I began to add thick layers of acrylic paint that cascaded from the top of the canvas towards the center. I then waited for the paint to try just enough so that they mix of color dispersed properly. In order to create a swirl like effect, I used abnormal materials such as cardboard, bubble wrap and a textured paint roller. This in turn created a Creamsicle swirl that reminded me of the colorful rainbow swirl lollipops from my childhood.
