The theme of this piece combines Amy Winehouse riding off into the sunset, with an overarching classic western setting. My vision was to capture the climate of the wild west layered by clouds, sunshine, and nature. I was able to accomplish this by using aluminum for the medium, then layering a blend metallic spray paint with acrylic paint to add texture to the scene.
