My vision for this piece was to create three different versions of Michael Jordan elevating across outer space, in which each MJ rendition features a different Chicago Bulls jersey color-way - white, red and black.
Using layers of green, blue and gray hues with shadowing techniques, I created a hovering, 3D presence in space.
I graffitied Jordan’s image onto acrylic plexiglass, layering it over a textured canvas to add depth and movement. The cosmic setting, inspired by Space Jam, reflects his transcendent legacy, blending the celestial and the iconic in this celebration of greatness.
