I decided to create angel wings by combining gold leaf over metallic silver acrylic for a simplistic yet powerful contrast. As a representation of Purple Rain, I crafted the outer portion of the piece with textured drops that lay behind a blend of a variety purple and blue hues. A truly apropos sequence that embodies the artist formally known as Prince.
