This graffiti style enhanced print of a the Joker / King is part of the Gotham City Files Collection. All of the editions blend varying layers of color which add to the uniqueness throughout the series. This ultimately allows each version to be its own one-of-a-kind mixed media print.
My vision was to infuse Jack Nicholson’s purple suit from Tim Burton’s Batman, Heath Ledger’s green hair in the Dark Knight, and the face paint from Joaquin Phoenix’s role in the film Joker. To bring the piece together, I layered the joker illustration from the classic Bicycle Playing Cards with hearts, spades, and clubs in the background.
